Thierry
Versatility and sharing.
I have always been drawn to nature and the countless activities it offers — whether on land, on water, or in the air.
Motivated by my desire to share and guide friends through all these outdoor experiences, I accumulated certifications in various disciplines: ski instructor, mountain guide, paragliding instructor, skipper, and diving instructor.
As one of the pioneers of canyoning in Switzerland, I was also behind the creation of the first canyoning training programs in the country.
I started heliskiing in the late 1990s and have worked with numerous heliski operations around the world, as well as on many ski and adventure film shoots to ensure safety.
As the initiator of heliskiing in Turkey and co-founder of Turkey Heliski and Pyrénées Heliski, I am now delighted to share my experience within Outdoor Activity, once again offering a wide range of unique adventures.
Francesca
What drives me the most is the mix of people, nature, and movement.
I’m Francesca, born and raised in the Aosta Valley in the Italian Alps. With a degree in physiotherapy, I first came to Ayder in 2006 to work as a physio, following my brother Alessandro who worked there as a mountain guide. I was immediately impressed by the spirit of adventure and the warm atmosphere, so I accepted Thierry’s offer to stay a few more years running the administration.
Later, I gained experience in Switzerland organizing summer camps, but Turkey always felt like home and drew me back.
Working with incredible adventurers, it felt natural to co-found Outdoor Activity – a way to help sporty people discover the beauty of the world.
Today, I combine my passion for the outdoors with family life, often travelling with my two young kids and sharing this journey together.

Passion for the field.
I’ve been a mountain guide since 2013, and I’m truly passionate about my work! I find joy in combining the challenges of complex terrains, the beauty of the mountains and the warmth of the human connections that develop there.
My guiding career has allowed me to travel to every corner of the world with my clients. By chance, one of those journeys took me to Ayder, the base of TurkeyHeliski, where I began guiding a few weeks each year. That’s where I met Francesca, Stéphane, and Thierry — we immediately clicked and decided to combine our skills to build the foundations of OA.
Deeply connected to the mountains, I’m now very happy to share my field expertise with the clients of outdoor-activity.pro.

As a mountain guide for over 20 years, I have accompanied clients to the four corners of the world, from Alaska to Mongolia, Greenland to Chile, not to mention the Alps where I live.
I love exploring new horizons, whether on skis, aboard a sailboat, on a bike, or paragliding.
Always in search of adventure, I am already looking forward to the next one!

Good planning, clear decisions, and teamwork.
Since a young age, I’ve experienced the mountains as both a school and a way of life. I am an IFMGA/UIAGM high mountain guide, canyoning guide, ski instructor, and trainer of sports technicians, with over twenty years of experience in mountain tourism and activity management. My career has developed between the Pyrenees and the Alps, combining guiding work with technical direction and the creation of projects that integrate terrain, safety, and organisation. I’ve contributed to the development of Pyrenees Heliski —the pioneering heliski operator in the Pyrenees— as well as to various projects in France and Switzerland focused on operational management and collaboration with guides from different countries. This dual perspective, from both the ground and the management side, allows me to design solid operational structures tailored to the needs of each project. At Outdoor-Activity.pro, I bring my experience as a guide and entrepreneur.

With roots in high-end fashion and luxury events, I later found my place in the mountains, where precision, passion and people come together in a different way. Based in the Val d’Aran for over ten years, I’ve been leading operations and guest relations at Pyrenees Heliski, where crafting seamless, high-quality experiences is second nature.
At Outdoor Activity, I bring that same dedication to every project: creating tailored adventures that are fluid, genuine, and unforgettable. What drives me is not just delivering a service, it’s being part of something that people will remember for a lifetime.
